I was asked to return to TC to photograph a ceremony in June that was halted by COVID-19 for two years - their Staff Recognition Ceremony. It was a 2-day celebration of faculty and staff who have been at the college for anywhere from 10 to 55+ years. I photographed this event on my own and was glad to be called in for this project. While in Hawaii to photograph a wedding, my sister and I took some time to go on excursions and see the island of O’ahu. One of those excursions was to Hanauma Bay State Park, where tourists and locals alike have the ability to swim and snorkel in one of the island’s most scenic bays.

I was contracted recently to photograph a charity event for the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Winter Park, FL. Dance for Heroes - a charitable event to benefit Revived Soldiers Ukraine. That night, the studio was holding a fundraiser for an organization in Ukraine that helps rehabilitate soldiers wounded while on duty.

I had been wanting to take a pottery class for a while, so before I moved back to Florida, I purchased a Groupon for a 2-hour pottery class that included making pottery on a wheel. The Groupon was for 4 people, so it was perfect for my family and I. The only time I had done anything with pottery was in 5th grade and I don't remember a lot of it, so I thought why not try it out for fun?

I started taking my photography seriously in 2013 after moving to New York City. There, I did a lot of portrait and event work at the graduate school I attended, and also roamed NYC photographing the city on my own.
