Earlier this summer, I was hired by PoolPro Magazine to photograph a pool servicing company for an upcoming issue. With excitement, I gladly accepted. My task was pretty open-ended - capture a couple of portraits and follow the team (a family) to photograph their operations while they work on pools.
I communicated with James (the son) and met the team at a storage facility due to them currently being in the process of moving their storefront. I followed them to 2 pool locations in the Orlando area over 2 hours and photographed them testing the water, scraping stains off pool surfaces, servicing, and cleaning the pools. I learned some of what goes into servicing pools and had a fun time photographing their operation.
This marks my first commissioned work as well as my first published work. I’m beyond happy they chose me to photograph the project and here’s some of what I captured.
