Disney Portraits with Dottiemouse / by Christian Hernandez

On Tuesday, my sister and I met up with Amanda (dottiemouse) at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center. She had reached out to me several months ago for some portraits in the parks and, for several months, we weren’t able to meet. Finally, our schedules allowed and we were able to capture some stills for her Disney themed social media account. We walked around the park, chatted, got on some rides, and took some photos. It was a ton of fun, though the weather was a high of 93 degrees. Needless to say, we pulled through the heat and captured some happy images.

One thing I’m working on recently is evolving my style of editing. Where I previously used one-size-fits-all filters that effectively softened skin tones and desaturated hues, I’m now utilizing more customized, detailed editing for every shot I deliver. An edit that brings out more of the colors in the images and clarifies details in the subject of focus.

Here’s some of my favorites of what we captured.
