Several months ago, MJ reached out to me after seeing some of my Disney-themed portrait work on Instagram. She runs a nutrition and lifestyle blog called Southern Meets Urban and in September, she was going to be traveling to Orlando and wanted some family photos around the parks with her daughters to document their trip. After finalizing the details on dates/times/locations, I was really excited and looking forward to capturing some special moments for them.

Spanning 3 days and 3 parks, we went around Walt Disney World and shot some family photos in the mid-summer Florida heat. For this shoot, we wanted to document spontaneous moments of the girls playing, being themselves, as well as capture some posed family shots. The girls, MJ and her husband, and the girls’ Godmother had a lot of fun while going around the parks and I think that came through in the photos.
